Christians believe that prayer is vital, a gift from God made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus. The purpose is that God as our Father loves us and wants our company!

 

It is an exploring of and enjoyment of friendship with Him, a discovering of His will and a learning to submit our wills to His thus enabling us to live it out in the world.
